There could be one in NC and one in GA too. That way, we Florida folk who 
want to visit the mountains while connecting with list friends can do it. 
Y'all who are in reach of NC and prefer it as a Ruck site can gather there. 
Lots of folks could do both.

I'm looking forward to the FL Ruck, but really want to attend an 
in-the-mountains-and-near-the-AT-Ruck as well. Ten to 12 hours driving time 
is my limit for a weekend event, though. More than that and even a Ruck isn't 
quite worth it.
