Orangebug,
    Why not a TnRuck.  At goes right close to Cades Cove,
no lodges there but a great place for camping with a group and right close
to Gatlinburg.  Has a large picnic shelter that can be reserved for
groupcamping.
     Oh, and by the way Sturchie Lodge in NOC is right close to Asheville
also.
