Last one for the night. :)
I bought a little nylon belly pack today with the idea that I
could carry essentials there, and would have them with me even
if I hike down the hill after dropping my pack or such. (I
read about how Garvey ended up spending one night by a water
source without anything.)
Please jump in with suggestions for what you would put in this
little guy. It's nothing fancy and not too big, either - so I
can't haul (for example) my rain windbreaker. Although I
could hang that from it's belt ;-) Probably the disposable
rain suit would make more sense, and a space blanket? And
what else?
Since I am planning to hike alone, I really want to plan well.
Thanks, everyone!
