[at-l] Toughest section on the AT

Have to agree with TJ, the Mahoosucs are just brutal.
Steep climbs, rough trail. Add that to the fact I
re-supplied out of Gorham and was starting to get
physically worn down (the dumbest things I ever did on
the trail? Not one zero mileage day between Deleware
Water Gap and Katahdin. I now know better...) and the
'short' ten mile days left me just the fuel guage on
"E". 

Still would not trade that experience for anything in
the world.... The Mahooscus are as beautful as they
are hard. I may be in Colorado, but northern New
England will always be special for me.
