Re[4]: [at-l] perspective

"...Naw it's the wearing cotton and using a zip," says Rocky (Clifford R. Haynes to those who
haven't gotten to know him around this crowded and sometimes friendly campfire) in response to my question about
why some think I'm a terrorist.

I've been called a commie often, probably even from some as wise as Rocky, but this is the
first time a terrorist. Just for the record, I'm not -- at least not deliberately. A quick scan
indicates that four or five dozen people regularly post to this forum. I suspect only a few of these
folks really think I'm a terrorist. But I have no way of knowing.

I suggest that those who don't want to read my offerings just hit the delete key. Those who want to
debate my terrorist proclivities should specify their evidence with more specificity than Jim
managed (Ginny has already discovered the delete key)in his recent post on this very trying day.

I just got back from a prayer service. I'm not a Christian as the term is normally understood, but I
felt the need to be with others for some reason. Apparently, others did also. I go occasionally with
my wife to the tiny country church, the steeple of which is visible across the bay through my living
room window.

I've often noted on those occasions the many who attend without their spouses. Tonight the
congregation was huge (relatively speaking) and spouses I had never before seen
showed up. I note this only because it struck me as different and interesting -- which incidentally
is why I from time to time I respond to posts presented here.
