Yes, the dates are pretty much set in stone. We'll be hitting the Trail midday on the 29th, and looking for a shuttle back to the vehicle on the 2nd. It's all being based around what time I can be away from work. Unless there's a blizzard, we'll be doing some part of the smokies (sounding like the northern half right now - thanks, Gimme <g>). You're welcome to join us, if our plans turn out to be something you would like.
Do they make dehydrated champagne? :) I've always wanted to spend New Years Eve on the Trail . . .
