The best people I know of to help you find hikers are Fannypack,
mailto:datkinso@att.com, or Ma & Pa, mailto:hikers99@yahoo.com.  Fannypack
has a great database of hikers from about '96 on.  Ma & Pa, who hiked
northbound in '99, have done a very good job of keeping in touch with all
the 99ers.  Hope this helps you.
