This "ultralite" carries his very comfotable 4 1/4 pound external frame
pack with compression straps. Even with a 10 pound summer load. The extra
comfort is well worth the extra weight for me. I hate weight on my
shoulder straps and can't imagine way anyone would want a glorified
pillow case pack.
