Thanks for the info on day hikes in the Southern Calif. region.  Others have
said that San Jacinto is a great place to go.  I have been up to the peak
several times as a Boy Scout myself.  Looks like I'm going back to revisit my
youth.  Thanks again.

To Brick Robbins:

I'm interested in purchasing a day pack for short one day trips.  How much
does it cost to get one made by you and how do I go about getting one.  Also,
I'm starting from scratch on obtaining camping gear.  Your info on sleeping
bag liners is very helpful.  Just wanted to say thanks.
