I agree this is a beautiful loop. I did it about 6 years ago.  Evolution
creek can be chest deep at times, so that along with the snow on Muir pass
and the elevation gains might not be such a good idea for beginners. Not to
mention the elevation itself, with Bishop pass and Muir pass both being over
12,000ft.  Be sure to protect your food on that loop also. Dusy Basin is
notorious for bear problems.  I'm sure there are easier loops that are just
as scenic?

North Lake-South Lake Loop out of Bishop through Evolution Valley.

You end up fairly close to your car.
