[pct-l] PCT Update

I received a note from Dave and Michelle today from South Lake Tahoe...

We were just overtaken a couple of days back by the first of the pack - they 
left Campo on 5/5! Followed our steps through the sierra and are picking up 
the pace now the trail is easing a little.

Mammoth-Sonora was tough. Kerrick creek almost killed us. we had to swim 
piute, almost swam return and stubblefield. Kerrick swept us away once, then 
we found a better crossing. The crossing at the trail was impossible but 
200yds upstream was just doable first thing in the morning. In the evening 
it looked like an xtreme whitewater rafting video!
