[pct-l] Water - Idywild to big bear

Strawberry creek, or something like it, was flowing when I came through in
May of 03. There was plenty of snow melt in the area, but the descent off
of Fuller Ridge is fairly dry. At the bottom, there is a tap with
water in it, and you'll want to fill up there: The hike across
the flats, under I-10, and to the Pink Motel can be hot, but isn't
long. I didn't stop in at the Pink Motel and instead continued on as
I had plenty of water: It is a long (hot!) way to Whitewater Canyon
from the tap. But, this is the only really long water-less stretch:
Whitewater is a (for the area) huge source. After that, you've got a
long hike up Mission Creek. Near the top is a good, if slow, source.
I can't remember what it is like from there to Big Bear, but I
don't remember being thirsty either.
