I picked up a "new" set of guidebooks recently:
1973 California with 1975 supplement
1974 Oregon-Washington
1975 PCT Hike Planning Guide by Chuck Long

The two guidebooks look unused. The Planning Guide has at least been =
read, and in it is a signature "Aaron - 1977." Does anyone know if =
"Aaron" actually did the trail?=20

I'm guessing that he, like I in 1978, planned to do it, but the harsh =
realities of life delayed our trip for a couple decades (and will delay =
it another decade yet).
