REI lists some optional wrist bands for the Suuntos:
A nylon band with velcro closure (Item 643769)
An accessory band of similar construction, but much larger to go over the
sleeve of a parka (Item 636641)

True, but one gets used to it quickly, and it has room to display elevation,
time, and barometric trend on one screen without eye strain.

I looked at the other brands because of the size and cost of the Suunto, but
liked the ease and availability of parts for battery and band replacement.

Just my opinion. YMMV.
