Here is some stuff from Fixing Your Feet, from the chapter on Lubricants.
The deodorant stick referred to is BodyGlide. Good stuff but hard to put on
feet because of the applicator. Avon Silicone Glove is very good, the
silicone helps, and is very inexpensive. SportsSlick is also great stuff.
The Bag Balm and Udder Balm products are used by many ultramarathon runners.

Avon Silicone Glove Avon makes this silicone cream for hands but it
works equally well on feet. Its non-greasy and non-sticky formula lubricates
while protecting against dryness and irritants as it softens. It is
available in a handy 1.5-ounce tube. For more information contact Avon
Products, 9 West 57th Street, NY, NY 10019; (800) FOR-AVON

Bag Balm Bag Balm comes in a green tin which has become familiar to
many runners. While Bag Balm is made and advertised for use on cow udders,
it has found acceptance in sports circles. Consisting of a combination of
lanolin, petrolatum, 8-hydroxy, and quinoline sulfate, many have found the
salve to offer healing properties. It can be used on cracked, callused, or
sore skin, or simply as a lubricant for your feet or other body areas.
Available in one- or 10-ounce tins, it is usually found in feed stores and
tack shops, but is becoming easier to find in many drug stores and hardware
stores. For more information contact the Dairy Association Co. (East of the

friction and skin irritation. This product comes in a “glide-on” applicator
similar to a deodorant stick. BodyGlide is hypoallergenic, waterproof,
non-sticky, non-greasy so it will not clog pores, and long lasting. Its main
ingredients are triglycerides, aloe, and Vitamin E. Its applicator makes it
awkward to use on toes but easy to apply to other areas. For more

lubricant made for athletes. The gel is easily applied to the toes, feet,
inner thighs, underarms, nipples, and lips. SportSlick prevents blisters and
chafing with antifriction polymers, silicone, and petrolatum which creates a
silky feel. It also enriches the skin with Vitamin E and C, soybean oil, the
antibacterial agent Triclosan, and the antifungal agent Tolnaftate 1%.

quickly absorbed by the skin. Similar to Bag Balm, Udder Balm was first made
for cow udders, With ingredients including lanolin, aloe vera gel,, and
vitamins A, D, and E, this cream is ideal for relief from rough, cracked
skin, and also for corns, cracked cuticles, and sunburn. Udder Balm is
