The Boney Dike is history north of BluffHammock Road to the Avon Park
bombing range. See Jim Pace for current conditions but the relo for this
section should be pretty good in dry weather. Hickory Hammock is closed due
to a land swap between the SFWMD and the land owners to the north of HIckory
Hammock. Look for it to reopen by the summer hopefully. For now you have to
road walk around Hickory Hammock, a real shame because it is probably the
best hike in the area. If you need further info contact me.
