GREAT POST Leapfrog!! -- first hand experience is the best -- I hope this
mother will hike some with her daughter if she's physically able, and if
not, then meet her at Trail Heads and Trail Towns --

Ever think of maybe writing a tract or small booklet for parents of children
who want to Thru-Hike?   Even a page on the internet they could be refered
to?
