I am thinking of bailing on the approach trail due to time.

I am flying in on Saturday March 25th LATE in the morning, and I figure that
it will be mid-afternoon before I get to the trailhead. I don't want to pay
to stay in a hotel that night... I want to stay in my tent or a shelter...
SO, I don't think I'd have time to get to a shelter before nightfall if I
took the approach trail. Is this good reasoning? This is, of course,
provided that I can find someone to take me up that far.
