My experience altered for the better when I gave numerous pounds of food to
a group of Boy Scouts I met as they came down. I was used to weekend hikes
in the Shenandoah's, was wearing 30# of excess body fat, and -- as I was
finally on may way after two years of anticipation -- was too excited to
pee. Ahem, eat. Breathe? (Well, that too.)
