Jim,

I've read many posts of esbit owners who are very pleased with their stove.
And the Esbit is an attractive option. My concern is with the price and
availaility of the tabs, as well as carrying patrially burned tabs and the
accompanying smell. I've tried to weigh everything I've read and it seems
that Trangia tipped the balance the most

Yeah, I think I've decided to go with the ridgerest over the Thermarest
Deluxe. Gonna sleep a little harder. I carry a pillow on canoe trips.
Along with eating well, sleeping well is a priority for me. I figure I'm
just going to have to make some adjustments. I just don't like nylon pillows.
