Opportunity knocks!!
As Datto enters the 100 mile, he'll be needing supplies- lets all do our part
to make sure he gets what he needs!
Hints-
Fruit cake- very sturdy, can be used as firewood in a pinch, and you can
tell auntie Eunice that 'yes, I made good use of your holiday present.'
A two bladed woodsman's axe, 13 inch nails, and a nine pound sledge
hammer- I hear shelter is very important. Probably should go with hickory
wood handles to save weight
Keg or two of black powder- to ease boredom
Sugar, flour, and hard tack- I don't know why, but these seemed popular in
the good ol' days of yore. Seems 'hogshead' was the standard amount
Batteries-four or five Sears Die-hards will probably get Datto through to
Jo-Mary Lake where he can re-charge
Canned beans. And a case of bean-o or earplugs, which ever weighs less
Flare-gun, with starburst and whistle shells- you can never be too careful
Let's not divide up the items in an organized manner, best we leave it up
chance, in the good ol' AT tradition
Other than a mule, I can't think of much else...
.... oh yeah, don't let Datto know what were up, K?
