Re[2]: [at-l] Bryson appearance at The Gathering

     On a brief but serious note, I don't that what goes on here on the at-l can 
     be reliably thought of as "what hikers think." The posters on the at-l may 
     not even represent the balance of all at-l subscribers, for all we know, 
     and what's more is that we don't know how representative the at-l is of all 
     AT hikers.
     For sure, I think these related posts are thoughtful and would be enjoyable 
     (or at least elucidating) for him to read. How some ever, we are only a 
     sample, and may not be an unbiased one.

Heres an idea.  Someone print out every single one of the posts concerning 
Bryson and present them to him at the Gathering.  Maybe in a nice notebook or 
something?  Thus he will find out what hikers think and have a chance to 
anwswer some of the questions concerning his hike.  I mean, if we're going to 
pass judgement, shouldn't the condemned know what the charges are?
