A funny story about Hoosier Daddy, Deetman aka Canteen Boy whom I hiked with last year had never met Hoosier Daddy but did not like him because in Tenn. where Deetman is from "whose your daddy" is what you say to someone you dont like and Deet had never met or saw a register entry from Hoosier so he did not understand the Hoosier part of the name he just pictured a not so nice person picking on the southern folk.For those of you who know Deetman this story is even better
