PIPC is the Palisades Interstate Park Commission and this affects
the AT from Rt 17 to the Bear Mtn Bridge in NY (Harriman and
Bear Mtn Parks are part of the Palisades Interstate Park system
which runs to NJ (ergo "Interstate")

PS NJ may have restrictions soon but hopefully the drought will end by
the first week in Sept.
