actually they are both the same since a southbounder's hike doesn't 
begin until the summit on K.  Same as the fact that the Springer approach
doesn't count.

Ah to be on a mountain top and let the wind BUFFET me rather than be here
in the office doing other peoples' tax returns.  And to think that 
forestry was on the list of choices when I chose accounting.  the stupidity
of youth.
