[at-l] Spring Fever!

Sunday I drove my friend Rick down to Springer Mt. It is his turn to hike
the trail. Talk about spring fever though. I hiked up to the top of Springer
Mt. with him, and meet a lot of other people starting the same day. It was
almost like someone new I was coming down there though. It rained for my
short hike to the top of Springer and back, and cleared up about the time I
was halfway back to school. I was so excited for everyone and a bit envious.
I met Baltimore Jack, and a bunch of people at the hobo central welcome
committee. I also met a few guys (Possum and Kuebec – (sp?))  and gave them
a ride into Hiawassee. They were so excited about getting showers and the
all you can eat food in town.

 I wanted to stay down there and start my trip all over again, but I couldn’
t. I am graduating in just less than 2 month, and my parents wouldn’t
forgive me if I didn’t finish up school. Well that is all I have to report
for now. I will let everyone know when I hear from my friend Rick – and also
when he gets a trail name.
