I've used ferns.  They worked reasonably well, but there is a secret....

	Use the "natural materials" to EXTEND your TP rather than replace
it.
	In my case, I underestimated how much TP I'd need, but was able to
get
	by by only using TP for the final "touch up".

Ferns are perfect comfortable, by the way.  They just don't clean very well.
