Here's part of the note I saved from that posting:
[Father] Fred [Alvaras] indicated that the hikers can make use
of the ball field shelter from May through November. Fred notes,
"We are making plans to physically improve the shelter for the
hikers and plan to continue to offer supper (5:30) and breakfast
(7:30) to hikers who use the ball field shelter during July and
August. One thing that we want the hiking community to know is
that, despite this emergency situation, hikers are welcome at
Graymoor."
I'm still planning on stopping.
