Ya know, we short and tall folks need to work out a way to exchange inches.
Even when I buy short people pants, I end up cutting 4-6 inches off the legs.
I thought I could cut some inches out of the middle of my rain pants and even
get rid of some ounces of material that way. Couldn't just cut the bottoms
because I'd opted for zippered legs. But the seamstress said she couldn't do
it. So much had to be cut out to make them the right length for me that she
would never be able to join top and bottom. :-(
