many of us tented near each other and got a chance to talk and talk. I'll
let others fill in the gory details <G>
 2. I prefered the "one school" venue at Carlisle greatly over the
spread-out nature of Concord College. It was hard to find some of the
classrooms and sometimes difficult to get across campus in time. Also,
kinda weird with all the kids there, and us taking their space in the
 cafeteria...
 3. With the notable exception of coconut cream pie, the food was terrible.
 Lesson learned: cook my own.

Indeed, it was wonderful to meet those of you i could. It was a good
Gathering, also my second....the 1st being in Hanover last year.

Although a better map of the college would have been helpful, everything was
fairly easy to find...even if there were no white blazes. Most presenters
didn't seem to mind if someone was a few minutes late.

The presentations were incredible....especially Steve Newman's inspiring tale
of his walk around the world. If i'd only gone for that it would have been
worth it. But meeting listers and (for me) meeting folks i'd known on the AT
this past spring were big parts of my weekend.

The weather was mostly great. And for my 2 cents, the food at the cafeteria
was quite good. Only wish it were possible to have camping nearer to
presentations. LOL...make it easier to make those morning ones,
