Re: [at-l] bivy

Eric,
Here's two places you might try.

The Rain Shed (can't find a current catalog, but I
think it's correct)
      707 NW 11th
      Corvallis, Or. 07330
      503-753-8900

Frostline Kits
       2525 River Rd.
       Grand Junction, Co. 81505
       800-548-7872

You should make the floor out of coated nylon. Lay your bag out and make
your own pattern, be generous. Add enough room at the top for boots and
gear you may need during the night. Make the entrance where your face
will be when you're in your bag, this will greatly cut down on
condensation. Most of the time you wont have to breath into the bag. You
can't do this with the OR type bivi. Don't forget to add some noseeum
netting and maybe a light weight rod at the entrance. And remember, use
as few seams as possible, double stitch all major seams.
