nope. any decent thru-hike will require frequent use of a full-sized
liver. just ask rainman and otis, 92 :)
rainman also conducted his pct hike in much the same way. he's the only
thru hiker i know that retains his beer gut for the duration of the hike!
btw, congrats to him and blister sister for organizing a super gathering in
hanover...at least, so i heard.
