I don't know where you live, but I have been doing research on the Bruce Trail
in Ontario.  It is 800km which is about 480 miles and runs from Niagra falls
to the tip of the Bruce Penninsula.  This might just fit the bill.  I haven't
hiked it yet, plan to this summer, but have heard good things about it.  They
