Thanks Joan for the enticing description of the FT.  Between you and
Rich, I'm convinced to give it a try, after I check out hunting season
that is .. I think I'd just as soon avoid that.

At the moment my daughter "Pedro" is finishing up back therapy and will
be ready to get back on the AT November 8th to meet up with Sister
Smiles and Leftover & Lucky who are leaving to get back on the trail
tomorrow.  Scott (Leftover) has fully recuperated! I'll be joining them
all for as long as my body will let me.  This time I have no obligations
to return home to, so this is a dream come true for me.  Kids are
finally grown, and the company I worked for closed down, so I think I'll
take some time to get this hiking thing out of my system.  By the time
the weather gets too cold to hike the AT the FT ought to be perfect
hiking weather.  This will be a good year after all!
