Just got back from a day hike from East B Hill Road to Rte 26-Grafton
Notch......over the Baldpates on a cool, clear and breezy day.
Met up with the following:
Gray Wolf and T-Bear,Southbounders from Florida, with whom I chatted with
for a good half hour and as I walked off we exchanged names and it turns
out we had "spoken" via e-mail in the spring about the trail in
Maine.....pretty cool....this internet thing shrinks the planet! They were
doing well after a rocky start with a foot injury and illness.......
also met up with Bobbi K a retired papermill worker from Virginia.......we
shared a snack and the buffeting wind on top of the East Peak
Only 1 Northbounder: Leprechaun who was from Mass and had actually started
in Mass and will flip flop once he reaches Katahdin......
