  I got a pair of teva knock-off at the dollar store in Damascus during my 
thru-hike, $5/6oz. I wore them for all stream crossings, and even wore them 
to ford the Kennebec < http://www.early.com/~crow/KbFord2.jpg >. They lasted
 all the way to Katahdin and I'm still wearing them today.
