Interesting idea re: flip-flopping from the middle South, etc.  Concept had
never occurred to me before, but yes, it would certainly beat the crowd problem..
At least until they flipped, and ended up back at harper's ferry just as the he   
herd from the south showed up.  But it would be a thinner lot, and a more savvy
one, having 1000 miles under its belt already, and the two parties (flip-flop-
ers and Northbounders) could share spring and summer pictures of the southland!
