[at-l] Professor of Psychology / Bamaman?

Well, I guess it had to happen. Busted by the Bamaman. That will teach me
to leave my "academic" signature file as the active default on Eudora. But
I do have a vision of the next several chapters of the book:

Chapter 4. A dissertation on penis envy from the view of female hikers
                on sub-freezing days.

Chapter 5. Psychological justification for beating and/or murdering a day
hiker who tells you that the shelter is "just a couple of
minutes ahead" when it really is another mile of serious uphill,
                complete with seven major blowdowns.

Chapter 6. Skinner, a rat, a tube of vaseline, flavoring from one pack of
ramen noodles, and a discarded filter from a Pur Hiker. (The
dog and rope are not recommended for this activity, and Felix's
                role should be minimal.)

Chapter 7. The Bamaman and the Professor employ their vast psycho-legal
expertise to yogi a Snickers bar from a 3-yr old boy momentarily
separated from his parents at the Clingman's Dome observation
                tower.

And, by the way, the scurrilous rumors about the Bamaman's use of the AT to
develop an alternative route for the smuggling of xxxxxxxxx to the
Northeast are totally without foundation. These rumors are the work of
business eniemies of his client, Senor Jaime Roberto "Jim Bob" Escobar, a
law abiding citizen of Bogota, Colombia. My colleague, Dr. Reuth, will
testify that the Bamaman has been under continuous observation in the
"Institute" during the time in question. I will not stand for any more of
this slander.
