I have this problem too!  Just bought boots last night.  I finally asked if
I could get boots from two different pairs, but they wouldn't go for it. :)

I've heard it's fairly common for people to be asymmetrical this way, though...
the salesperson suggested lacing one boot tighter than the other, etc, but
I wondered if that was the only solution anyone had found short of buying
custom-made boots.
