[at-l] Re:Pack Covers

Doug Prosser inquires about viability of over-all poncho instead of pack cover. 
I have used the $30 extra-long poncho from Campmor for one-third of the AT and 
never regretted not carrying a pack cover. Just one more addition to weight. 
Breathability is no prob because you get ventilation through the sides. and the 
Poncho is great to sit on under your tarp when all else is wet and you crave a 
dry lunch. "Poet."
