The most unusual convenience I've seen (two summers ago) was a duplex
electric outlet on a tree at the first leanto south of Abol Bridge.
if I remember right. Only problem was whoever installed it forgot to
hook it up.
Yes outhouses are pretty standard at almost all shelters.
