There was a murder/suicide(?) in the Shenandoahs after those girls were
murdered and I remember hearing someone say that the city folks
(Washington, DC, that is) thought it was a neat place to commit suicide. 
 I guess, when you think of it, I would rather die on the trail than in
the city!  : )
