I think you want to go all the way in to Machester Center because that's
where you can resupply and that's where everyone will be. I don't know
of anything that was .6 off the trail. It will be an easy hitch into
town because there's a parking lot there for hikers and it was full the
day I was there. Manchester Center has everything you could possibly
want, plus the hostel is a gem. Gutsy
