Steve Dopp had written concerning his tent choices and was considering
the Stevenson 3RS.
Steve, I own a Stevenson 2RS and it is an extremely roomy/long 2-man.
I'm not sure about fitting in two packs, but I've had 2 people,a large
dog, and a bunch of stuff sacks in mine with plenty of room to move around.
Also, you were concerned about not getting to see the tent before
a purchase, well Stevenson's does offer a video tape demonstrating
all of their gear. It shows tent setup and (better yet) it also
show the sizes of the tent with people in them. The video was
$5, but it went as credit towards the purchase of your tent.
Worst case, you don't have to drive all the way to New England
to take a look at a Stevenson tent--I live in Raleigh, NC :-)
