Graymoor open for 96 thruhikers
For the 96 thruhikers -
Latest word is that the Graymoor monastery will be open to hikers this
year for the months of July and August only. Check with the ATC when
you go through Harpers Ferry.
This is really good news because there are few hostels between Delaware
Water Gap and Manchester Center. And Graymoor is one of the best stops
on the entire Trail.
I don't believe this is in either the Thruhikers Handbook or the AT Companion.
The decision was made after they went to print.
