I'll move it back to the AT related column.

"Welcome to the Weyerhaeuser/Washington-Jefferson National Forest and the
Paper Trail. On your left 4000 acres have been clear-cut in an effort to
increase the companies bottom line at the expense of the taxpayer. However,
2
million seedlings have been planted in a reforestation project. By the time
your
grandchildren's grandchildren are too old to hike, this same forest will
have
retained it's former beauty. Thanks for your patience, your tradition, your
trees
and your money."

Thanks for the fiction. Sometimes fear takes over a person's mind and they
imagine that there are bogey men running the government. Contact your local
elected officials and ask them to address your fears. Share with them your
apprehension about government policies.

But don't forget to vote.
