 John (Big John) Killam isn't only volunteering for the AT; he was just in Florida doing a work with F-Troop (a volunteer vacation working on the FT).  He rode his bicycle down from Alabama and planned to ride it at least part of the way back.  I offered him lodging at the Y'all Come Inn (hey, if Jan can name her house, I can name mine), but he declined.  First met him about 8 years ago; super nice guy.
