[at-l] RE: intros

Introductions.

Name: Tim Rich

Trail Name: Never had one

Where you live (where ever you get your mail): Atlanta, GA - born &
raised in Bama

Occupation: Case Manager, FDIC

Marital Status: Married, happily.

Family: Our three sons are 17 (Ryan), 14 (Eric) and 7 (Mason). Great
boys, one and all. Ryan's the drummer and football star, Eric's the
guitarist and football star, and Mason's the drummer, guitarist and
football star in training. It's fun when the drums in the basement are
playing to a different song from the guitar upstairs.

Pet: With three boys, who needs pets? We do have Sushi, the fish.

Age: 40

Favorite Trail: AT

Favorite AT section: 1) 30 miles leading to Roanoke that includes
Dragons Tooth, Catawba Mountain and Tinker Cliffs; 2) Presidential
Range; 3) Max Patch; 4) Hunt Trail

Other than the AT, the trail you most want to hike: Select portions of
the PCT, Pinhoti, BMT, Utah slots, Milford Track, tramping in Ireland.

Trails completely hiked: AT, sectioned NOBO 1989-2005.

Trails you want to complete: Pinhoti Trail (Alabama section) this year,
then Georgia Pinhoti to BMT, then BMT to Springer. Sipsey Wilderness.
If anyone is interested in hiking the Pinhoti, there is excellent
information at http://www.hmtc.org/sitemap.html . An 18-mile section
has recently been added to the Pinhoti, extending it south to near
Sylacauga, Alabama.

Hiking topic(s) you know a bit about: Section hike logistics, getting
to and from the trailhead, bumming rides from AT-l and Whiteblaze
members.

Other hobbies, interests: Boating, volunteering/coaching my boys'
sports teams, teaching my adult Sunday school class, home improvement
(just picked up a foreclosure to rehab - fun, fun), classic autos
(keeping my 72 Chevy and 65 Ford running), Alabama football.

Other stuff: AT-l member since 1995. I've seen many come and go.
Whatever happened to that Rob Davis fellow who promised not to be
bothersome?
