### HA! She tried to get me to buy into Google. I sed
"Jan, it's not even *public*!" She sed "Fool, it's
going to go sky high!" I sed "Jan, it's an Internet
dot com!" She sed "Idjit! You'll never touch it at
this price!" I never did. It's heading toward $500,
roughly ten times the first blush. She let me down.

### Don't bother counting. The number will not change
-- I swear it. The best you could do would be to count
"down" to Springer, and even that will only change
once a day -- pretty boring stuff.

1. What is the proper place/method to dispose of empty
fuel canisters? Can they go in regular trash
containers?
### Don't take 'em. Use alcohol.

2. When you get a tent that is factory seam-sealed
(MSR) should you still do your own seam-sealing as
well, or could I in some way mess up the factory
seam-sealing?
### Don't take it. Use the fly and a speck of Tyvek,
and don't worry 'bout the seams.

3. I read somewhere, after I bought my red food bag,
that bears are attracted to red. Is this true?
### Yes. And pink, also. And Yellow. And I saw one eat
a blue bag once without stopping for air. And black.
Mine is mesh, and I've never seen a bear eat it, but
it's white mesh, and the reds, yellows, blues, greens,
and blacks all show through, so perhaps that doesn't
count for much. Basic story? The bear will not eat
your food bag, ever, anyway, no matter the color. The
bear will only eat his food bag.

(You AND your husband ROCK.)
(Jan Liteshoe owes me millions.)
