Coon Den Ridge is about two tenths of a mile north of Cold Springs Gap. This
is in the section between Tesnatee Gap and Unicoi Gap.The reroute will
increase the section by about three tenths of a mile , give or take a tenth. It
will be well worth the extra steps .It was a very steep down that was very
slippery during wet weather. We were constantly replacing steps and water bars .
It was a loosing battle. The reroute will be a more scenic route with good
